Meet Our Team
Dr. Scruggs
Dr. Scruggs has been in practicing dentistry in Shreveport for 22 years. He attended LSUS for his undergraduate degree in Biology, and he received his DDS from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. Scruggs trained in implant surgery at the HandsOnTraining Institute in New Jersey, and he has practiced the diagnosis, treatment planning, and placement of implants for several years.
As per his motto, “Gentle care for all ages,” Dr. Scruggs is dedicated to making sure our dental patients are comfortable in the chair. Dr. Scruggs prides himself on making long lasting, beautiful smiles. Whether a large or small case, Dr. Scruggs approaches every patient with the same passion and enthusiasm. He is a dentist that takes his time with every patient to ensure that he or she is satisfied.
In his free time, Dr. Scruggs enjoys spending time with his family. He has four children and one grandchild. He also enjoys competing in triathlons, marathons, and cycling.
